Our panels are designed to sit on any sleeper profile, including Bull Header Rail and Flat Bottom Rail. Although every fourth sleeper should be placed at 1.8 metres, the intermediate sleepers are not so critical.

A concrete edge beam is placed on one side of the crossing. Depending on the transport systems that are using the platform, either concrete edge beams are used or angle edge beams are used.

Base plates are used to mark out every 4th sleeper. The legged base plates on the centre sleeper anchor the crossing. No special tools or plant are required for HoldFast installations.

The HoldFast polymer panels are exceptionally strong and durable for all crossing situations. Individual panels can be removed at anytime without disturbing adjacent panels. Panels are delivered direct to site. Gauge panels are made in two halves giving a distinct advantage for installation and removal.

If there are chains hanging down from passing trains, deflector plates will ensure that these are not caught in the track. Our PVC Angle edge beams allow concrete to be poured in, securing the rail to the road.

These fit any sleeper and any rail section and proving the natural replacement for worn and dangerous wooden slats. Made from 100% recycled rubber, they are strong and durable and will last indefinitely.
